We at MEGC CNG are pleased to introduce our Passive Mobile Filling Station (MRS) designed within a 20 ft ISO container for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and expertly installed on a Mercedes Econic Truck with a natural gas engine. This innovative solution provides an efficient, eco-friendly and reliable method for refuelling CNG vehicles and storage units. Designed to meet the highest safety regulatory standards, this MRS offers unparalleled performance and ease of use, making it an ideal choice for a variety of industries.
Key Features
Mercedes Econic Platform:
- Chassis: Built on the durable and versatile Mercedes Econic truck chassis, known for its low-entry cab, high manoeuvrability, and excellent visibility, ensuring operator comfort and safety.
- Natural Gas Engine: Equipped with a natural gas engine, providing an eco-friendly alternative with reduced emissions, in line with the latest environmental standards.
Passive Mobile Refilling Technology:
- Pressure-Fed System: Utilizes a passive, pressure-fed mechanism to ensure a steady and controlled flow of CNG without the need for a compressor, reducing maintenance costs and increasing reliability.
- Pressure-Sensitive Filling: Advanced controller monitors the pressure in the refillable vehicle or storage unit and prioritizes filling from the lowest pressure point, maximizing the amount of CNG transferred from the filled MRS.
Three Efficient Sections:
- Sectioned Usage: Divides the refilling process into three sections to optimize efficiency and ensure even distribution of CNG, improving the overall refueling performance.
ADR Compliance:
- Regulations and Standards: Frame and installations are designed and built according to ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) regulations, ensuring the highest safety standards.
- Pressure Testing: All components and installations undergo rigorous pressure testing in compliance with ADR standards to guarantee safety and durability.
User-Friendly Control and Monitoring:
- Touchscreen Control Panel: Operators can easily manage the refilling process using an intuitive touchscreen control panel, providing real-time monitoring and control. Allowing the MRU use 60% of volume of gas.
- External Buttons: Equipped with external buttons for starting and stopping the filling process, ensuring convenience and safety for the operator.
Advanced Data Management:
- Flowmeter: An integrated flowmeter provides accurate measurements of CNG dispensed, ensuring precise refueling records.
- Automatic filling process: Actuated valves are operated by control unit and software, to fill vehicles and cascades, exact volumes.
- Data Recording: Refuelling data, including location and amount of CNG dispensed, is automatically recorded and stored, accessible for accounting and operational analysis.
